Waiting for my package to arrive

I’ve done okay with trying to do some sort of workout 2 or 3 times each week.  For me, it’s mainly been pilates.  But, I’ve ordered Chalean Extreme and I’m so excited for it to arrive!  I think it’ll help that I have a plan to follow, as well as an end goal, which is 90 days.  Plus, the workouts keep changing which will keep things different and I’ll be less likely to get bored.  I ordered some heavier weights online, so I’m waiting for them to arrive also.

Finally!

I finally got up off my butt and worked out.  It’s been months. It took a lot of convincing and tough love, but I managed to pop in the dvd and move.  I tried the Core Fusion Body Sculpt for the first time.  It looked pretty easy, but it was much more intense than I ever imagined.  It’s divided into five 10 minute sessions: arms, thighs, glutes, abs, and stretching.  I worked a good sweat and my legs were shaking the entire way through the thighs and glutes segments.

Now, I just need to keep working out…

A little background info…

I am not new to the whole fitness and weight loss gig.  In the past year, I’ve lost about 20 pounds by incorporating exercise into my life.  It definitely has not been easy, especially for me, whose body just clings to fat.  Add to that, the fact that I love being lazy and eating, and hate to workout, and that adds up to quite the inner and outer struggle.  Last summer, I joined a ‘bootcamp’ that quite literally kicked butt.  I joined with a friend, which helped keep me accountable and motivated me to give my all three days a week.  But come fall, bootcamp ended and I slipped back into my lazy, no exercise ways.  Although I haven’t gained too much back, I can definitely tell a difference in my body as it keeps getting chubbier and chubbier.  So I know that I need to get back to working out, especially if I want to continue to with my weight loss.  I still have a lot to lose, probably about another 40 or more pounds.  My body fat percentage is also way too high for my comfort.  I haven’t checked it recently, but will do so before starting again so I can track my progress.
